Sedation Practitioner
Dr Joy is a highly experienced consultant anaesthetist with an extensive background in delivering safe, expert care across a wide range of complex procedures. With nearly 25 years of experience in hospital-based anaesthesia and sedation, she brings exceptional clinical knowledge, calm reassurance, and a strong commitment to patient safety.
Throughout her career, she has worked closely with Head and Neck, and Maxillofacial surgeons, providing anaesthetic care for complex reconstructive and orthognathic procedures. Her extensive experience in shared airway cases and multidisciplinary teamworking supports the safe, carefully managed delivery of sedation and anaesthesia in settings where precision and communication are essential.
Dr Joy has also developed broad sedation expertise across Ophthalmic Surgery, Reproductive Medicine, Endoscopy, and Radiofrequency Ablation for chronic pain. This depth of experience enables her to provide high-quality sedation tailored to individual patient needs, helping patients feel more relaxed and supported during treatment.
As part of the Advanced Sedation team, Dr Joy brings this expertise to dental practices, helping to deliver safe, professional, and reassuring sedation services for patients undergoing dental procedures.
