Adult & Paediatric Sedation Practitioner
Dr Rabenstein was born in Germany and graduated from University College Cork in Ireland in 1990. He subsequently gained Membership/Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists and the College of Anaesthetist of Ireland as well as a Master's degree in Pain Management and an MD degree.
Besides his NHS hospital job which centred around anaesthesia work in the labour ward he has been providing dental sedation for adults and children since 2010 and says he actually enjoys this activity the most as it helps clients with dental phobia to have their dental care needs met.
Dr Rabenstein also enjoys teaching and has been a past council member of the Association of Dental Anaesthetists (ADA) which has now expanded to become the Association of Dental Anaesthetists and Sedationists (ADAS). He is fully trained in advanced life support provision for adults and children and currently works as a Medical Appraiser for his NHS trust.
To balance his busy work life Dr Rabenstein and his wife are having a solar electric motor yacht built onto which they intend to retire eventually.
