Treatment Coordinator & Sedation Trained Dental Nurse
Katie qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2014 and began her career working in a busy dental practice, where she quickly discovered her passion for patient care and helping people feel comfortable and supported during their visits. She has always enjoyed building strong relationships with patients and being part of a team that positively impacts confidence and wellbeing.
In 2018, Katie moved into the field of dental sedation, joining a busy NHS referral clinic as a Dental Sedation Nurse. Working closely with nervous and anxious patients became a particular passion, especially supporting those who had avoided treatment for many years due to fear or previous negative experiences.
Alongside her role as a Sedation Nurse, Katie also worked as a Dental Sedation Recovery Nurse, Treatment Co-ordinator, and carried out pre-sedation consultations. These varied responsibilities allowed her to support patients throughout their entire journey, from their initial consultation through to recovery and the completion of treatment. She takes pride in explaining procedures clearly, answering questions, and ensuring patients feel reassured, informed, and confident before their appointments.
Katie believes that kindness, patience, and effective communication are just as important as clinical skills. She is committed to creating a calm, welcoming environment where every patient feels at ease and supported throughout their treatment.
